WHERE WE STARTED

The year was 2017. Just weeks into being a first-time mom, I realized my son’s “baby acne” was actually severe eczema — and it was getting worse by the day. I didn’t feel comfortable using steroid-filled creams, and after trying every “gentle” lotion on the shelf, I quickly saw how ineffective most products are — even the ones made for dry, irritated skin. He deserved better. We did. 

One jar of raw, whipped shea butter brought him more relief than anything we’d tried. And that was the beginning — of Healin’ Butta, of Kélise Co., and of a deeper journey into the power of plant-based care.

Not our first time around the block—you might remember us as Whip Body Butter or Whip Skin Care Co. In 2022, I took a step back: I was focusing on my mental health and wellbeing, recentering my business goals, and making plans for the future.

That pause gave me space to grow — not just as a founder, but as a woman, a mother, a wife and a creative. What came next was deeper intention, stronger formulas, and a renewed vision. That vision became Kélise Co. — a brand rooted in healing, luxury, and the kind of self-care that feels as good as it works!

Over the last 6 years I’ve spent tons of time researching the most effective natural solutions for dry, sensitive skin — studying ingredients that not only soothe and protect, but nourish and restore. Every product I create is a love letter to those who crave more from their body care — more intention, more comfort, more indulgence.

While our ingredients are simple, the experience is anything but.
